TG & V panelling
Our standard panels have beveled sides and invisible nailing.
As the nails are hidden from view, invisible nailing offers a higher esthetic value, on the downside, it has a smaller actual coverage, as the image below illustrates:
More often than not, the sides of our panels are beveled. The advantage to this is that the exterior view remains unaltered when the wood expands or shrinks. These changes in size are unavoidable, and result from fluctuating moisture levels. In the illustrations below, panels are shown without beveled sides and with a tongue length of 12 instead of 7mm.
Please find all available wood species with the available actual coverage in the table below. All panels have invisible nailing with a tongue length of 7mm. Variations are available on demand.
- panels with a longer tongue (12mm instead of 7mm) have 5mm less actual coverage
- panels without invisible nailing have 5mm more actual coverage
- please know that these are standard sizes. Custom sizes are always possible - in fact, it’s almost daily business!
